Hop on your broomsticks and head to the Chantry Centre for Creepy Crafts this Halloween!

To celebrate Halloween this October, the Chantry Centre will be running some free craft workshops for families to enjoy.

On Saturday 31 October, families can take part in Halloween-themed craft activities at the centre’s indoor garden space, located next to Boswell’s seating area. Due to social distancing guidelines, spaces are limited and families of up to six people can book a spot at one of the sessions which will run at select times between 10am – 3pm. Bookings can be made at www.thechantrycentre.com

In addition to the creepy craft workshops, there will be more spooky happenings going on around the town including a Halloween Hunt, organised by Love Andover and Andover BID, which will encourage families to track down scary characters across Andover and hand in their findings at a special gazebo in the High Street to receive some treats.

Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Councillor Phil North said:

Whilst we haven’t been able to run our full programme of events in the Chantry Centre this year, I’m delighted that we are able to start offering activities for families to take part in again. We are taking special measures to ensure everyone will be safe and we really hope that families will make the most of the day and come into the town centre to enjoy lots of Halloween fun.

The free craft event will be taking place in the Chantry Centre on Saturday 31 October 10am – 3pm. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Booking is available at: www.thechantrycentre.com.
