Jan Lumsden of Kutchenhaus Romsey with her entry prize

Winner of fourth prize announced in Test Valley Business Awards 2019

The winner of the fourth Test Valley Business Awards 2019 entry prize has been announced…

As the end of this year’s Test Valley Business Awards entry period draws closer, there are only a handful of chances to win a spot prize, which have been gifted to entrants chosen at random throughout the entry period.

The fourth winner of several such prizes offered during the entry period was chosen this week by Jan Lumsden of Kutchenhaus’ new Romsey showroom, winner of the Awards’ third entry prize giveaway.

Picking a name entirely at random from a hat, Jan chose Lisa Armstrong of Active Staff Ltd. in Andover who has won a handmade gift donated by Porter’s Emporium.

Whilst selecting the Awards’ fourth entry prize winner, Jan was also presented with her own prize; a bottle of Veuve Cliquot from the Co-Op Distribution Centre, based in Andover.

Jan Lumsden commented of her entry prize and her experience of entering the Awards:

I’m delighted to have won an entry prize as part of the Test Valley Business Awards this year, and recommend other businesses in the area enter. It’s a great way of showing everyone you’re proud of your business, and celebrating your achievements.

This year, there are no fewer than 6 awards categories to choose from, sponsored by some of the areas most accomplished and well-established businesses.

The Test Valley Business Awards 2019 Awards Categories & Gold Sponsors are:

  • Innovation & Technology Award – The University of Southampton Science Park
  • New Business of the Year Award – Test Valley Borough Council
  • Marketing Excellence Award – Webkick Ltd.
  • Employer of the Year Award – Simplyhealth
  • Businesswoman of the Year Award – Aster Group
  • Small Business of the Year Award – Parker Bullen LLP

To enter, businesses are asked to visit: www.tvbawards.org.uk/enter and fill in the simple online form with 200 – 250 words about your business against the relevant category judging criteria, which can also be found on the Awards’ website.

There is now one more opportunity left to win a locally sourced entry prize as part of the 2019 entry period.

The Awards is free to enter; taking just a few short minutes to fill in the online form which, if successfully chosen as a winner, could lead to a full 12 months of business promotion across the Test Valley.

Businesses are encouraged to enter as many categories as possible before the entry & nomination period ends at midnight on 13th May.

Now in its 15th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of volunteers – has become a well-established platform to champion business excellence. It is a great way of shining a light particularly on the many new and small businesses in the region, all doing interesting and valuable work, but often out of sight.
