Alabaré Charity Baby Shop Opens

This morning, the new Mother & Baby Charity shop was officially opened by the Mayor

Alabaré is pleased to announce the opening of Andover’s premiere Specialist Mother and Baby Charity Shop (75 The High Street) which was officially opened today by Councillor Iris Anderson, Mayor of Test Valley.

The shop sells high quality mother and baby products from Bouncers to Buggies and everything in between.  Opening hours will be 9:00 am -5:00 pm Monday to Saturday, (closed on Sunday).

Having had huge success on it’s first day of trading, the charity is now looking for further donated items.

Lynne Ireland, Area Retail Manager, Alabaré  Christian Care and Support, says,

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the support of the local community and are so thankful for people’s donations.  If people would like to donate further,  please take items along to the store, or  larger furniture items can be collected (in the local area), call 01264 359 447  to make arrangements or visit our website

The charity is also keen to hear from any volunteers – they need a range of people to help out behind the scenes as well as on the shop floor. If you have any spare time and think you would like to get involved please let the team in the shop know.
