The finalists have been chosen in this year’s Pride of Andover Awards…
Following an energetic judging day on 8th September in Andover town centre, seeing the Awards’ Committee come together with the category sponsors to determine which of this year’s nominees were to be shortlisted, the 2018 finalists have been chosen!
Officially announced later this month, and ahead of the Awards Ceremony in October, this year’s nominees have been whittled down to just 18 shortlisted finalists.
Sponsored by passionate local businesses keen to recognise positivity and community spirit within the town, the Pride of Andover Awards serves to recognise members of the community who go that extra mile to ensure Andover continues to be a thriving, caring, and enjoyable place to live & work.
Christine Mellor of David Mellor Family Jewellers, Main Sponsors of the Pride of Andover Awards, said of this year’s nominees:
The nominations we received this year were of a really high standard, and we’re all really excited to officially announce our shortlist at the end of the month! A big ‘thank you!’ goes out to everyone who nominated.
The Pride of Andover Awards exists to shed light on the town’s unsung heroes – endorsing the inspiring and often selfless actions of Andover’s most generous individuals; promoting a sense of pride in our unique north Hampshire town.
