Spaces are selling fast for Naomi House & Jacksplace’s brand new charity event, the 5k Mix Up, ahead of the event registration closing date on Sunday 2nd September.
The fun run, being held at Fairthorne Manor, Southampton on Sunday 8th September, has already attracted more than 250 participants, who will enjoy lots of fun and mess as they run 5k through gunge pools and foam cannons, take on obstacles and get pelted with powdered paint. They will also enjoy a fun finish with a giant water slide!
Charlotte Patrick, Events Fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:
Anticipation at our fundraising office is extremely high as we countdown the days until our very first 5k Mix Up! The Hampshire Rainbow Run has proved popular over the past few years, so we are very excited to step it up a notch with gunge, foam, bubbles and even more powdered paint! It’s a family friendly event that’s suitable for children aged five and above, and we look forward to seeing lots of groups of family, friends and colleagues take on this fabulously messy fun run in support of the children, young adults and families in our care.
Entry for the 5k Mix Up is £20 for adults and £15 for children ahead of the registration closing date on Sunday 2nd September. Participants can also sign up on the day for £25 for adults and £20 for children. Entry fees only cover the cost of events so each participant is asked to kindly aim to raise £50 to support Naomi House & Jacksplace.
