This year, The Romsey Singers have been celebrating their 50th year. Both our Easter and Summer concerts had a celebratory theme, followed by a trip to Germany which was enjoyed by many. The Christmas concert concludes our happy 50th year!
Start your Christmas festivities by joining us for our annual Christmas concert in Romsey Abbey. This is a firm favourite on the run up to Christmas, and is particularly exciting as we are joined by Quinta Brass.
As well as the choir singing some lesser known Christmas music, the audience get their chance to join in favourite carols such as ‘While Shepherds watched’, ‘O Come all ye faithful’ and ‘God rest you merry Gentlemen’. Do join us for what promises to be a thrilling concert in wonderful surroundings.
Happy Christmas!
JOY TO THE WORLD Christmas with the Romsey Singers Conducted by Philip Lawson – Join us for our annual, popular Christmas concert to get you in the Christmas spirit! Together with music by Howells and Poulenc, we shall sing carols for both choir and audience. Quinta Brass and Adrian Taylor at the organ, will also join us for the evening.
