Due to Government guidance A-Fest has been postponed until September 6th, 2020.
We are taking the situation seriously. With school closed postponing our event is socially responsible, says Katherine Bird co-organiser of A-Fest.
In 2019 the festival was visited by over 3,000 people. Many Andover organisations, SMEs and groups have already booked stalls for A-Fest 2020.
A-Fest is in the process of contacting all of the businesses and groups who have booked to let them know of the change, and invite them to be a part of this celebration of youth in September.
A-Fest is Andover’s Youth Festival with organisations, stalls and attractions catering to young people aged between 5 and 18, their families, parents and carers. A-Fest would have run from 11am to 3pm on Andover High Street, and any organisation with something to offer 5 to 18-year olds in Andover can have a stall free of charge.
We are determined to highlight the amazing range of options available for young people in Andover, and alongside that it is key to consider everyone’s safety, said Katherine Bird.
