With little more than 5 weeks until the nomination period ends in this year’s Pride of Andover Awards, time is running out to nominate the town’s most inspiring, passionate, and selfless people for an award.

Sponsored by an array of local businesses passionate about the town and its community, this year’s 10 awards categories exist to shine a light on those selflessly working & volunteering in and around Andover; strengthening our community by giving up their valuable time.

The Pride of Andover Awards 2019 offers the opportunity for anyone nominated to be shortlisted for an award, including the Services Award, this year sponsored by Ocado. The Services Award has been created to recognise an individual or team from the public or private sector who has gone beyond the remit of their job to make an impact on peoples’ lives.

Kim Lund of Ocado commented of their support of the Pride of Andover Awards:

Despite the devastating fire at the beginning of February, Ocado are still a large employer and very much part of the community so we are delighted to sponsor this initiative again.

We have seen Andover at its absolute best and we have been overwhelmed by the support from the local community – this is what it’s all about.

Anyone wishing to nominate an individual for this award category is asked to fill in the simple online form, available on the Awards’ website before 31st August.
