On Friday 18 December from 7.30pm, Naomi House & Jacksplace are going live to host the ‘Christmas Party Quiz’; an evening of festive activities for the whole family.
With physical Christmas parties unable to go ahead, and Christmas traditions like trips to the pantomime being a little bit different for everyone this year, Naomi House & Jacksplace is hosting this very special virtual Christmas party to get everyone in the festive spirit. The Naomi House & Jacksplace Fundraising Team will be joined by radio DJ, friend and supporter, Robbie James, to host the event.
The event will feature a Christmas quiz, and an assortment of activities and games, designed for the audience to play virtually, including Pin the Nose on Rudolph, Christmas Bingo, dressing up as Christmas trees and more.
Suzie Simmons, Head of Corporate and Regional Fundraising for Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:
This is going to be such a fun event, and we want to encourage as many people to sign up and get involved, to celebrate Christmas together while supporting their local children’s hospice. It’s not just one of our traditional quizzes, it’s going to be a full on party, and we hope our audience will embrace the theme with festive outfits, decorations and some very merry cheer. This Friday night in Tier 2 just got a whole lot more exciting!
Louise Gough, Fundraising Assistant for Naomi House & Jacksplace, added:
My house is covered from head to toe in decorations, and I’ve got my best Christmas jumper at the ready for the big event! As part of the event, we are also hosting a Christmas Raffle, with some incredible prizes to give away, which we hope our generous supporters will take full advantage of.
Entry to the Christmas Party Quiz is £10 per household, which includes a festive activity pack, the virtual quiz event link and an entry into the raffle. Participants can also choose to purchase more raffle tickets for a greater chance of winning, for additional donations of £5. Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices provide respite, end of life care and bereavement support to hundreds of children and young adults with life threatening and life limiting conditions from across seven counties. The charity needs to raise £9.2 million annually to provide a fully comprehensive service. Money raised from the Christmas Party Quiz and similar virtual events will go towards the hospices’ vital work.
