For its fourth successful year, Four Fun Fridays is taking part in Andover High Street each Friday in August (except the bank holiday weekend). Each day has its own exciting theme played out with street theatre, performances, workshops and activities. Even if you have missed the first two Fridays, don’t worry, come along to this week’s fabulous day based on fairytales, myths and legends.
All Four Fun Friday events are free, and this week could see you settled down to enjoy stories from Amanda at Merry Go Round Storytelling or a creative encounter with the Flying Carpets from Fool’s Paradise. Bump into the Damsels in Distress wandering around on the backs of their trusty dragons, or participate in a BFG inspired make and take workshop. The Artroom will be in attendance as well as Andover Vision and Andover Library with its summer reading challenge.
Leader of the council, councillor Phil North said:
It has been fantastic to see so many people in the town each Friday, enjoying all the family friendly activities and creating a vibrant community feel in the High Street.
With just one more fantastic Friday left to go on 23 August, don’t miss out on your chance to bring the family along for a free day of fun and creativity.
