Your chance to learn more about the TVBAwards2018 Innovation & Technology Award finalists…
With the Test Valley Business Awards widely anticipated Gala Dinner & Awards ceremony The Museum of Army Flying now just weeks away, the spotlight is on the Innovation & Technology Award finalists.
The Innovation & Technology Award category is sponsored and judged by the University of Southampton Science Park, and serves to recognise any business which is achieving business success through innovative application of new ideas, technology or practices.
The finalists in this category for 2018, are:
- VuePoint Solutions Ltd.
- vivaMOS Ltd.
- Inflowmatix Ltd.
Peter Birkett, CEO of the University of Southampton Science Park, said of this year’s Test Valley Business Awards and finalists:
I always look forward to reviewing TVBA award entries immensely! It’s really important for me to see what innovation is taking place beyond the Science Park boundaries and I’m never disappointed. This year’s shortlisted companies are well deserved. They should feel very proud of their achievements to date and look forward to further success in the future.
The Test Valley Business Awards Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony, where this year’s winners will be announced, represents a great opportunity to hear about and celebrate the success of just some fascinating enterprises. It also allows guests to network with other local businesses and gain valuable publicity to promote themselves.
Dan Cathie, CEO of vivaMOS Ltd., commented on being shortlisted:
We’re delighted to have reached this stage in the competition and to be recognised as one of the finalists. As a technology start-up, it’s a real pleasure to be recognised within the region for the innovation we’re bringing to the X-ray detector market. We believe our ideas will help shape the future of medical X-ray imaging.
Robin Bell, COO at Inflowmatix Limited said:
The team at Inflowmatix are extremely excited to be a finalist in the Innovation & Technology Award category of the Test Valley Business Awards. As a local company it’s a privilege to have recognition of our achievements from our peers. There are exciting times ahead and we are all looking forward to working together and growing the business.
Finally, Mark Taylor, MD of VuePoint Solutions Ltd, remarked:
This is fantastic news on the back of winning the Inspire17 Award for Innovation Excellence in November last year.
With over 220 entries across six categories, VuePoint is one of only 18 businesses shortlisted for an award. Again this is yet more recognition of all the hard work that the team at VuePoint have put in to developing our Energy Risk VuePoint service and making VuePoint such an enjoyable place to work, helping to meet our vision of being on the desktop of every energy professional and in bringing clarity and insight to complex environments.
Only a handful of tickets remain available for the Test Valley Business Awards Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony at the Museum of Army Flying on 13th September; costing just £55 a ticket, to include sumptuous 3-course meal and welcome drink.
Now in its 14th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of volunteers – has become a well-established platform to champion business excellence. It is a great way of shining a light particularly on the many new and small businesses in the region, all doing interesting and valuable work, but often out of sight.
