The Worshipful the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Ian Carr, last week visited Romsey’s own Businesswoman of the Year, Stephanie Barnett, to learn more about her business following her recent award-win.
Based in North Baddesley near Romsey, Pure Human Resources is a thriving business consultancy, with an extensive range of experience and expertise in all aspects of HR and Training.
Declared Businesswoman of the Year at the Test Valley Business Awards 2018, Director of Pure Human Resources, Stephanie Barnett, had the opportunity to show the Mayor around her new offices; introducing him to staff, and explaining more about, not only what the company does, but how it was established and the growth it’s experienced in recent years.
I was thrilled to win the Businesswoman of the Year award at the 2018 Test Valley Business Awards gala dinner in September, comments Stephanie. And as a welcome follow up, my team and I were delighted to welcome The Worshipful Mayor of Test Valley, Councillor Ian Carr MBE, and Sophie Porter from the Test Valley Business Awards team to our office and training suite on 7 November.
It was fabulous to show them around our home; tell them all about the HR and Training Consultancy services we offer, and be able to share with them what a positive impact the Awards – and the win – and indeed being shortlisted for the Small Business of the Year category – have already had on our business.
As well as seeing benefits from the publicity, we have made some wonderful business contacts across the Test Valley area and beyond as a direct result of our success.
We would like to thank Ian for his kind words about our business achievements and congratulate him on his MBE – well-deserved after many years’ service for the local community”.
Now in its 14th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of volunteers – has become a well-established platform to champion business excellence. It is a great way of shining a light particularly on the many new and small businesses in the region, all doing interesting and valuable work, but often out of sight.
