Christine Mellor of David Mellor Family Jewellers, Main Sponsors of the Awards, commented:

We’re delighted to have received so many nominations this year, and would like to extend our best wishes to everyone who has been put forward for an award.

Simply to have been nominated – to have been recognised for your hard work; volunteering your time, helping someone in need, or raising money for a cause you feel passionately about – is a great achievement and something each and every one of our nominees should be proud of.

Our thanks goes out to everyone who took the time to nominate someone for an award.

The category sponsors will now meet with the Pride of Andover Awards committee to commence judging, which took place during a closed event on 7th September.

The Pride of Andover Awards exists to shed light on the town’s unsung heroes – endorsing the inspiring and often selfless actions of Andover’s most generous individuals; promoting a sense of pride in our unique north Hampshire town.
