Local business volunteers have a tea-rrific time at Enham Trust

Staff from top mechanical and electrical services specialists Correct Contract Services (CCS) in Andover, have taken time off work to help locally based disability charity, Enham Trust, pack thousands of tea-bags for Christmas cuppas around the world.

The volunteers from CCS’ head office in Hopkinson Way, were working in one of Enham Trust’s successful social enterprises – Enham Third Party Logistics – where the charity has already packed 3.2 million tea-bags this year for a leading London department store.

The event was part of a number of community initiatives which CCS staff do annually to help hard-working local charities like Enham Trust which supports and empowers 6,000 disabled people annually to live, work and enjoy life.

We had a great day volunteering at Enham Trust and working with its inspirational and amazing staff who are so passionate about improving the lives of some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable members of our community,” says Danny Gladwyn, Managing Director of CCS. It was a great privilege to be able to support the Trust at this very special time of the year which is all about giving those in need a helping hand.

The charity which has been operating for almost 100 years and actively employs disabled staff, provides specialist care, housing and employment for people with disabilities, enabling them to live a life of independence, choice and control.

The CCS team did a fantastic job of packing teabags and we really appreciated all their hard work and effort on the day, says Hannah Monck, Head of Income Generation. Volunteers are absolutely vital to the work of the Enham Trust and we are delighted to work in partnership with CCS.
