Ringwood-based Linwood has donated a massive stock of nearly new curtains and fabrics to local homeless charity, Emmaus Hampshire. The luxury textiles are for sale at bargain prices in the charity’s upcycled home superstore at Bar End Road, Winchester.
Nigel Samuels, chief executive of Emmaus Hampshire says:
This is a very generous donation and we are grateful to Linwood for thinking of us. Our companions will choose some of the fabric to upholster furniture they sell in our Winchester, Eastleigh and Southampton superstores, so hurry before they use it all up!
Linwood fabric can often be found at over £50 + VAT per metre prior to being made in to curtains. This therefore is a hugely generous donation and opportunity for Emmaus customers.
The majority of the curtains on display are lined and ready to hang. The fabric is also highly sought after for cushions, soft furnishings or to re-upholster and upcycle worn furniture.
Established in 1994, Linwood is a family business based in Ringwood, Hampshire. Drawing inspiration from textile archives, museums and the natural world, Linwood designers create both classic and contemporary designs which combine beauty, quality and practicality. For new Linwood fabrics, see the company’s website for your nearest retailer.
