Last chance to enter TVBAwards2019 as final entry prize winner collects reward…

There are just hours- left to enter the Test Valley Business Awards 2019.

Entries close at midnight on tonight and the final entry prize winner has been presented with her reward. Chosen at random from all entrants of this year’s Awards, Kate Griffin of Wessex Spirits in Andover last week received her prize for entering early – a mini hamper, generously donated by Hampshire Fare, who are based in Rownhams in southern Test Valley.

The hamper was presented to Kate by Nancy Judge of Hampshire Fare who commented:

Hampshire Fare is delighted to support the Test Valley Business Awards which do such a fantastic job of highlighting and celebrating the region’s businesses. We strongly recommend that – just as Kate has done – eligible businesses get their entries in before the 13th May deadline.

Of her experience of the Awards and winning an entry prize, Kate remarked:

I was thrilled to win the entry prize – what a lovely surprise to get the Hampshire Fare hamper with local produce just for entering the TVBAwards. The team at the TVBA are so helpful, encouraging and supportive; winning the entry prize was a fabulous added extra!

This year, businesses are being encouraged to enter any or all of the Awards 6 categories, sponsored by some of the areas most accomplished and well-established businesses.

The Test Valley Business Awards 2019 Awards Categories & Gold Sponsors are:

● Innovation & Technology Award – The University of Southampton Science Park
● New Business of the Year Award – Test Valley Borough Council
● Marketing Excellence Award – Webkick Ltd.
● Employer of the Year Award – Simplyhealth
● Businesswoman of the Year Award – Aster Group
● Small Business of the Year Award – Parker Bullen LLP

Of the Awards’ 6 Gold Sponsors, Parker Bullen LLP represents one of the initiative’s newest supporters; making this year’s Small Business of the Year Award possible. Open to all businesses operating within the Test Valley that employ 15 people or less, the Small Business of the Year Award looks to celebrate the achievements, overcoming of challenges, and excellent customer service skills displayed by small businesses doing big things in the area!

To enter, businesses are asked to visit the website to enter and fill in the simple online form with 200 – 250 words about your business against the relevant category judging criteria, which can also be found on the Awards’ website.

There is still plenty of time for businesses to enter as many categories as possible
before midnight on today (13th May)

You know best how your business excels; why it is special and why others should
know more about it. A little effort can go a long way!

The Awards is free to enter; taking just a few short minutes to fill in the online form which, if successfully chosen as a winner, could lead to a full 12 months of business promotion across the Test Valley, including editorial and advertising opportunities worth over £1,000.

Now in its 15th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of
volunteers – has become a well-established platform to champion business excellence. It is a great way of shining a light particularly on the many new and small businesses in the region, all doing interesting and valuable work, but often out of sight.
