John Hanson Community School: Blooming Lovely!

Mr Russell Stevens, head teacher says:

I am a strong believer that appearance matters, as do first impressions. The message of ‘look smart, think smart’ is one that I often speak about to students. However, this also goes for the environment in which my staff work and your children learn.

To this end the school approached Dobbies Garden Centre at the end of last term and asked if they could support the school in smartening up the flower beds at the front entrance. The school are pleased to say that Dobbies have been incredibly supportive, for which they cannot thank them enough. While the plants have some ‘growing room’ the school grounds will now create a much improved first impression as you enter through the gates.

The school would like to thank Dobbies and John Hanson’s Site Manager Paul Seabrook for bringing this to fruition.
