INANDOVER Town website launched by BID

A one-stop website for Andover Town Centre makes doing business in the town safe, easy and enjoyable

Andover BID has launched INANDOVER a brand-new website for Andover Town Centre aimed at highlighting all that is good about the town centre and its businesses. Supported by Test Valley Borough Council and The Lifestyle Card, INANDOVER provides a one-stop
directory of the town centre’s businesses and features helpful information to make a visit Andover town
centre; safe, easy, and enjoyable.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, we are seeing great changes in how people shop. Consumers are shopping with greater awareness of the environment, health and cost, choosing locally sourced products and hometown stores rather than travelling. INANDOVER is designed to help people find products and businesses that they may not know are available in Andover as well as reminding them
of old favourites.

Steve Godwin from Andover BID said:

Trends are showing that people feel more secure and safe shopping locally at present, avoiding larger shopping centres for the security of towns like Andover where social distancing is easier to ensure. INANDOVER will help people locate a business that can fulfil their needs.

He added:

By getting behind our local businesses they will ensure that our High Street stays vibrant through a difficult period and is there for everyone to enjoy in the future.

Sean and Fiona Caruana from The Lifestyle Card commented:

We are delighted to be teaming up with Andover BID and TVBC to promote and support local business in the town centre. The Lifestyle Card offers a free platform for local businesses who are giving discounts/offers to encourage people to support local. Any Lifestyle Cards purchased via ‘INANDOVER’ will result in a proportion of the proceeds being reinvested back into the town centre. As a promotional offer we are giving a 25% discount on 1 Year Cards purchased, see ‘InAndover’ website for more details.

Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, councillor Phil North, said:

It’s more important than ever before that we pull together to support our local town centre’s. Having worked closely with the BID and The Lifestyle Card, we hope that the new ‘INANDOVER site will help to better promote businesses and attract shoppers. INANDOVER aims to showcase the town and is a great way to explore the area and all it has to offer, including its fantastic independent retailers and high street names.
