is calling for public servants, individuals, volunteers, charities and community groups to submit their entries for this years’ High Sheriff Community Award, which aim to make the county a better and safer place for all residents.

The High Sheriff, Mark Thistlethwayte, said:

The awards are to honour those who deserve special recognition for their good work and who go beyond the call of duty in their everyday activities, in the area of law and order related projects that enhance safety and cohesion in local communities. This is an important part of the High Sheriff’s role and I look forward to recognising the hard work of local people and local organisations that work so hard to make their communities a better and safer place to live and work.

Nomination forms can be downloaded as either pdf or word files from: www.hiwcf.com/high-sheriff-2018-9-community-awards/ and returned to marketing@hiwcf.com before 4th February 2019.
