Come and listen to the story so far about our exciting plans to develop a hospice in Winchester. This is a great opportunity to hear from the palliative care team about Winchester Hospice, find out how to get involved and answer any questions you might have.
By converting Burrell House at Royal Hampshire County Hospital into a 10-bedded hospice and palliative care hub, we can ensure that more patients with life limiting illnesses and their families are supported as inpatients or in their own homes. We hope to open Winchester Hospice in 2019 and to do so, we need to raise money for the renovations and the furniture and equipment.
These talk is an opportunity for patients and the public to hear expert consultants talk about their specialist area of health, meet the Trust’s management team and ask questions.
Everyone in the community can become members of HHFT, by filling in a simple form on the website www.hampshirehospitals.nhs.uk or by picking up a leaflet at one of the Trust’s three hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke or Winchester. You can also come along to the talk and sign up on the day.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a member of HHFT, or information about future meetings, visit our website here.
