The Hampshire Country & Garden Festival offers a host of entertainment, demonstrations and workshops, more than 40 gift and garden stalls and delicious food and drink, for everyone who loves the great outdoors. This year’s event celebrates the restoration of the listed building Bere Mill, after severe fire damage in 2018. Owner
Rupert Nabarro will give a talk about the restoration process.
An evening event at Bere Mill on Saturday 8 June
from 6.30-10.00pm, sponsored by JM Finn Wealth Management, features guest speaker
and best-selling novelist Santa Montefiore, ‘in conversation’ with well-known TV
presenter/producer, Professor Khalid Aziz DL.
The Festival on Sunday 9 June includes a dog show, pottery workshops and demos on fly fishing, bee keeping, cake icing, pasta making, jam making, flowerarranging and lots for children to do, including circus skills, den building, sand art, cooking classes, story
telling and yoga. There’ll even be a music entertainment provided by a local band, Head North.
The Festival also includes a Gardener’s Question Time with Stefan Buczacki, plus talks from garden experts including Rosy Hardy, Sarah Eberle and Jane Fernley-Whittingstall
