Naomi House & Jacksplace hospice has launched their annual Make Your Will Fortnight scheme to allow local people to receive a free Will writing service from local solicitors.
‘Make your Will Fortnight’ takes place between 29th October and 9th November. During this time law firm Eric Robinson Solicitors will waive their normal basic or standard Will writing fee in return for a donation to Naomi House & Jacksplace. A further 23 law firms are taking part across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire and the Isle of Wight. There will also be appointments available at the hospices in Sutton Scotney on 4th November.
Keith Wilson, Head of Marketing at Naomi House and Jacksplace said:
We are delighted that such highly regarded local solicitors have agreed to support our appeal. Make Your Will Fortnight is a wonderful opportunity to support Naomi House & Jacksplace while ensuring you have secured your loved one’s futures. Everyone can benefit from making or reviewing their Will, particularly if you have recently moved house, had children, divorced, retired or married. In doing so, you will be helping hundreds of local children, young adults and their families across central southern England.
25 solicitors firms are taking part in Make your Will Fortnight across the South, and staff at Naomi House & Jacksplace hope that the scheme will raise £20,000 to fund care for the region’s most seriously ill children, young adults and their families.
People wishing to take part in Make your Will Fortnight should contact their chosen solicitor between from 29th October and 9th November. Please note that appointments do not have to happen within this time frame, you just have to book the appointment in those 2 weeks.
Naomi House & Jacksplace is the only hospice offering a 24/7, 365 days a year service for life limited and life threatened children, young adults and families living in Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Dorset, the Isle of Wight and beyond.
