This year’s ‘Christmas at Marwell’ takes families into a curious world of topsy turvy delights with a fairy tale Alice in Wonderland theme.
Christmas at Marwell is a magical event, which is in its 10th year, providing a fun filled 60 to 80-minute festive experience for all the family to meet Father Christmas.
This year, Marwell Hall will be turned into a wonderland of whacky delights to offer a Christmas experience with refreshments fit for the Queen of Hearts, a tea party with Mother Christmas as she recounts a curious tale and an elf workshop where little ones create a ‘magical’ elf door.
To finish, children mustn’t be late for a very important date to meet Father Christmas and receive a surprise gift.
Daytime sessions (10.00-14.25) include all day zoo access to see hundreds of exotic and curious creatures, a Christmas ‘wonderland experience’ and a new Cheshire cat trail to take part in.
Evening sessions (16.00–18.15) include a special Mad Hatter character welcome, an illuminated train ride aboard the ‘woodland express’ to Marwell Hall, a Christmas ‘wonderland experience’ including additional tea & coffee, regal garden games, plus warming festive fare is available to purchase from a caterpillar caterpod.
Guests can also purchase a family photo as a lasting memory of the day.
Available on selected dates from 16 November to 24 December, prices start from £7.50 for infants, £15.50 for toddlers, £29 for children (up to 16 years old) and £25.50 for adults.
