As part of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) week at Winton Community Academy we were extremely fortunate to have a visit from Duncan McIndoe, Global Director at international professional services firm Turner & Townsend.
He answered a range of questions on anything from the company’s role on the HS2 project to the need for young people to adapt and be ready to change career direction in order to take advantage of exciting opportunities. With his own unique story Duncan definitely helped bring things to life for the students.
As one year 9 student said:
I didn’t even think jobs like that existed, what an interesting guy.
Our thanks to Duncan, Turner & Townsend and the team at Speakers for Schools.
