Contemporary dance leaders present SKIN REimagined

An evening of highly physical contemporary dance awaits, when ACE dance and music’s SKIN Reimagined comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 6 February.

This powerful double bill exploring ancient spirituality and science; what lies beneath the skin; and what it means to be human, is directed by ACE co-founders, Gail and Ian Parmel – in collaboration with international choreographers Vincent Matsoe of South Africa and Akiko Kitamura from Japan.

SKIN Reimagined features six exceptional and diverse dancers who interpret the themes, react and interact, to create a heightened energy and awareness that leaves audiences breathless.

With new scores, costumes, choreography and digital projections, the national touring dance company from Birmingham – who are recognised around the world for being a leader in Contemporary African and Caribbean Dance – present an evening of dance that has been described as ‘inspirational’, ‘explosive’ and ‘music and dance to elevate the soul’ – one not to be missed!

Skin REimagined will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 6 February, at 7.30pm. Find out more, or book tickets, at; calling 01962 840 440; or visiting the Box Office at the venue – Theatre Royal Winchester, Jewry Street, SO23 8SB.
