Fans of TV presenter Clive Anderson should head to Theatre Royal Winchester on Sunday 29 March when he presents his comic talk, Me, Macbeth & I.
The host of improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, radio show Loose Ends and talk show Clive Anderson Talks Back, brings his much anticipated first ever solo tour to Winchester, in a one-man show that is guaranteed to be funnier than Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy.
The British Comedy Award winner – who, while practicing as a barrister for 15 years, spent his spare time performing stand-up and writing comic scripts – became involved with the alternative comedy scene in the early 1980s, being one of the first acts to appear at The Comedy Store, in London.
Since then he has made guest appearances on numerous TV comedy panel shows, presented on radio a number of biographies of public figures including Jesus Christ; travel shows and documentaries; and hosted Last Night of the Proms.
Clive Anderson: Me, Macbeth & I will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Sunday 29 March, at 7.30pm. Find out more, or book tickets, at theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call the Box Office on 01962 840 440.
