Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK and in the next twelve months 44,000 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Prostate Cancer affects 1 in 8 men and if there is a family history, these risks increase even more, so it is important to be aware of the symptoms as early diagnosis is key in regards to long term prognosis. It’s sadly a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during an entire football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around and their aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
MLG Magazines LTD (publishers of local free gazettes collectively known as MLG Gazettes) Director & Editor Tracey Preston is raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, as she plans to take part in ‘Football to Amsterdam’. This is a two day challenge, 145-mile bike ride to the Dutch capital and she has been training hard in order to complete this fundraising for this worthwhile cause. Tracey has already reached 80% of her fundraising target, however she needs your help to get to 100%.

I’ve trained for two marathons, climbed the 3 peaks, boxed in a ring, but this has to be the hardest challenge of all. It’s all for a great cause! Thank You to everyone who has supported me so far
