The 2018 Business Woman of the Year Award winner will speak at the official launch of the Test Valley Business Awards 2019.
Following a record-breaking 2018, the is back for a 15th year; officially launching during a free lunch time event held at Axis, the brand new Conference Centre at the University of Southampton Science Park, on Friday 15th March, where last year’s Businesswoman of the Year Award winner, Stephanie Barnett, has agreed to speak about her experience.
Declared Businesswoman of the Year 2018, Stephanie Barnett is the founder and Managing Director of Pure Human Resources Ltd., a Hampshire based business consultancy, with an extensive range of experience and expertise in all aspects of HR and Training.
Stephanie Barnett commented of the Test Valley Business Awards:
A year ago, I never would have believed that I’d not only be the proud owner of a Test Valley Business Award, but also be invited to be a keynote speaker at the 2019 TVBA launch event!
Having the opportunity to share what the Awards have meant to me, my team and the business since attending last year’s launch event is brilliant. It has certainly been a year of positive business change for us at Pure Human Resources: we have made lots of useful contacts across the local area and have gained some fabulous new clients directly as a result of the Awards.
Needless-to-say, I’m now a keen TVBA advocate so am really looking forward to meeting everyone who is interested in being involved this year. We haven’t looked back since winning our award, so would definitely recommend that other local businesses consider applying this year.
Alongside Stephanie Barnett, other speakers at the launch event include: Peter Birkett, CEO of Southampton Science Park and the Worshipful the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Ian Carr MBE.
Places for the Test Valley Business Awards 2019 launch are free but limited and therefore prior booking is essential for individuals wishing to attend this year’s launch. To book, please click here or see the website for more information.
The launch event marks the start of this year’s entry process, open to entries from businesses of any size operating across the Test Valley.
Entering its 15th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of volunteers – has become a well-established platform to champion business excellence. It is a great way of shining a light particularly on the many new and small businesses in the region, all doing interesting and valuable work, but often out of sight.
