From Saturday, 5 December and each Saturday in the lead up to Christmas there will be a new pop-up shopping experience popping up in the Chantry Centre from 10am – 6pm.
Test Valley Borough Council, in conjunction with Andover Vision is delighted to have put together a group of artisans who will join together in a special limited edition indoor Saturday Christmas market during December.
It can be found in unit 16-18 in the Chantry Centre, on the slope opposite Hoggosaurus Toy Shop, and each week will feature a core of artisan crafts, food, drink and gift providers including Little Country Lane, Mad Bag Lady, Material Moments, Neal’s Yard, Candle Delites and Mr Pickles. Many of the names will be familiar to those who regularly attend the monthly Artisan Markets. In addition there will be additional new guest traders each week.
Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Councillor Phil North, said:
Following our purchase of the Chantry Centre, the Council has already introduced easy in/easy out terms to encourage and enable business start-ups, utilising the vacant units. Whilst our medium-term aspiration is to redevelop the centre, we’re also keen to start establishing a number of indoor markets to enable small enterprises to sell their products and bring some vibrancy to the centre – and I’d urge you all to check it out.
The pop-up Christmas market will take place from 10am – 6pm on Saturday, 5, 12 and 19 December in the Chantry Centre, Andover.
