Join us for an evening of festive music and seasonal readings in the beautiful setting of Winchester College Chapel, in aid of some of the most vulnerable people in Winchester.
There will be musical performances from Ex Collegio, an a cappella vocal ensemble formed by recent music scholars from Winchester College, alongside professional musicians from the school’s Music Department. The programme includes traditional carols alongside Christmas classics, such as The Little Drummer Boy, Follow That Star and Silent Night. Readings will be presented by Lucia Quinault, a poet, librettist and teacher of English at Winchester College.
Trinity Winchester is a local charity, which addresses the effects of homelessness and vulnerability through specialist practical and emotional support, and proactive prevention, empowering positive change. Trinity helps people who are vulnerable to the effects of homelessness, addiction, physical and mental ill health, poverty, social isolation and domestic abuse.
All funds raised from the concert will go directly to Trinity, enabling them to provide practical help and support to those with the greatest need this Christmas.
The concert takes place in Winchester College Chapel on Thursday 19th December 2019 at 7:30pm.
