A Festival Feel for Andover’s Artisan Market

July’s Andover Artisan Market will have a festival feel this month as it coincides with Carnival Day in the town.

Why not bring the whole family and browse the array of fabulous crafts, produce, gifts and drinks stalls lining the High Street.  Listen to the lovely voice of Jayne Deer singing in the Time Ring from 10.30 am onwards, and then from 12.30 – 2 pm enjoy the beautiful blend of voice and guitar from James Mitchell.  Along the way you can pick up some scrumptious goodies from local suppliers and producers to make a picnic to sample, before completing the day with the carnival!

Stalls for July will include Bourne Valley Pick Your Own, Flavours of South Africa, Selsey Willows Seafood and Brown Bread for patisserie.  Candle Delites, Mystical Hedgerows and Homemade by Mollie and Me will all be making welcome returns to the Artisan Market showcasing their art and craft.   Or for something completely different why not have a chat with the Basingstoke and Deane Canoe Club –encouraging you to take to the water with them!

Leader of the Council, Councillor Phil North said:

“There will be a real buzz around the town on Sunday, 15 July.  I would encourage everyone to join in and be a part of something happy and vibrant in the Andover annual calendar of events.”

The market will take place on Sunday, 15 July from 10am – 2pm with further markets on the third Sunday of each month.
