Something for everyone at the New Forest’s Volunteer Fair 2017
Sunday’s National Park Authority’s Volunteer Fair presented the New Forest Volunteer Centre with new challenges to place volunteers in opportunities best suited to their qualities and talents. Over 80 people stopped by the stand to find out about opportunities ranging from befriending to conservation and many more.
Lorraine Lambert, Community First New Forest’s Volunteer Co-Ordinator presented a talk ‘Driving you wild’ – Volunteering on wheels!’ and handed out information on local driving opportunities. New Forest Nightstop also attracted a lot of attention.
This event becomes more popular each year and this year attracted 712 potential volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, or your organisation needs volunteers, ring 01425 482773 or visit www.cfnf.org.uk
