The Andover branch of home improvement and building trade retailer, Wickes, has donated over £1000 worth of paint to leading disability charity Enham Trust’s creative initiative The Art Project.
Run by Art Programme Project Manager Dorethea Nowack, The Art Project from Enham Trust was launched in the summer as a response to the charity’s activity around their historic Cedar Park development; demolishing the existing buildings to make way for a 14-bed Neurological Rehabilitation Unit and array of accessible homes.
This is a wonderfully generous gift from Wickes, comments Dorethea. A donation that will ensure we can continue our efforts to form stronger relationships within the community, in turn presenting the idyllic grounds of Enham Trust as a centre for art and expression.
Enham Trust currently supports over 7,500 disabled and disadvantaged people each year to gain independence, choice, and control in the cornerstone areas of their lives, including; housing, care, and employment & skills.
