Leading disability charity Enham Trust is looking for local daredevils who certainly can stand the heat, to take part in a fundraising firewalk, on behalf of the charity’s vital cause.
Taking place at The Weyhill Fair pub near Andover on 9th October, Enham Trust is asking anyone looking for a new challenge, a team-building exercise with a difference or just something fun to do on a sleepy Sunday afternoon, to take part in this most fiery of events.
The firewalk for Enham Trust comes as part of a calendar of events created between the charity and the pub, as the organisations team up for 2016.
We’re really pleased to be offering an event like this, comments Enham Trust’s Events Fundraiser Rachel Coombs. Challenges like this are a great way of bringing people together to test their own personal limits and abilities, and have fun whilst raising funds to ensure disabled people can live independently.
Participants must be 15 or over, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Entry is £30 with a recommended fundraising target of £70. For more information about the firewalk, and to sign up, please visit: https://www.enhamtrust.org.uk/news-and-events/events/latest-events/firewalking-in-andover or email: events@enhamtrust.org.uk
All funds raised will go towards Enham Trust’s work across the country; supporting 7,500 disabled people to gain independence in the cornerstone areas of their lives – housing, care, and employment & skills.
