Test Valley Latest Issue

Welcome to the August edition of your local Test Valley Gazette magazine.

August has come around quickly hasn’t it? There’s lots of exciting community events this month with many enjoying the festival season and outdoor theatre/cinema events around the area. Need something to do this summer? Check the What’s On section pages 60-61.

British summertime is not usually known for its sunshine, although last month we had a few hot spells and we were reminded of sun safety for young children, elderly and our pets (advice on page 36-37) – so if it’s hot again this month please make sure you are as safe as possible.

In this issue we have articles about the Riverside Bowl launching a Loyalty Card, Valley Leisure donate Inclusive Fitness Initiative equipment to Andover War Memorial, and also offers free spaces for charities and local groups on the high street for their fundraising activities and much more besides.

Our Test Valley People article this month is Breathe Easy Andover in association with British Lung Foundation. We talk to Keith Brown who lives with COPD as he explains more about the condition and all about this local support group, see pages 38-39. If you run a local group and would like a FREE 2 page article in future editions as part of our Test Valley People please get in touch.

We are always happy to connect with local people whether it be Community or Education news, Local Events or Charity Fundraisers or whether you are local businesses looking to discuss their marketing strategy, so please do email us tracey@testvalleygazette.co.uk Please also get in touch if you have any events you would like advertised on our website or in our What’s On section in the publications.

Enjoy August and all the great local events here in the Test Valley!
