The first winner of the Test Valley Business Awards 2016 first entry prize has been announced, with more still to come…
With this year’s Test Valley Business Awards in full swing now is the time to enter and nominate a business you think is a winner. To add interest and encourage entries, for the first time, entrants will be selected at random to receive an entry prize.
The first of several such prizes was chosen by The Worshipful the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr. Iris Andersen on Tuesday 22 March 2016 at the studio of one of the Awards’ Silver Sponsors Webkick, an Andover-based digital marketing agency.
The Mayor of Test Valley announced Denize Lloyd-Wickens of InZ.pired Ltd., as the winner of a selection of bars of specialist chocolate from Test Valley’s newest Chocolatier enJoy Raw Chocolate.
As a brand new business ourselves we value the opportunity the Awards offer, commented Chris Crutchley of enJoy Raw Chocolate. To meet other local businesses, as collaborators and potential customers.
I am delighted to say that we met several businesses at the launch in Romsey earlier this month, with whom we will be in touch with very soon. I will certainly be entering and I would urge others to do so as well. It’s a great opportunity to develop links with other Test Valley Businesses.
With many entry prizes still up for grabs, businesses are encouraged to nominate and enter as soon as possible in order to be in with a chance of winning.

Now in its 12th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a small steering group of volunteers and supported by the Council – has become a well-established platform to promote businesses excellence and especially to shine a light on the many new and small innovative businesses operating out of sight. It is a great way to enable smaller enterprises to gain the recognition and exposure to grow.
Businesses are free to enter themselves or members of the public, and other businesses may nominate partners, suppliers, or local businesses they feel are deserving of an award; the Awards are free to enter and all nominations and entries must be done online; nominations/entries close on 6th May 2016.
