Skiing sisters continuing success

Natasha and Anastacia Stocker, sisters from Lymington, who attend Ballard School, have been selected for national skiing squads in their respective age groups.

Natasha, aged 15 has competed widely across Europe and has now been selected as a member of the U16 English Alpine Squad following a tough weekend of testing and training and her younger sister Anastacia, aged 12 has been selected on the U14 English Alpine Squad under the control of Snowsport England.  Not to be left out, their younger sister Sophie is also a highly promising skier who hopes to emulate her older sisters.

Whilst competing on the slopes Ballard School support the educational requirements to enable them to continue with their education whilst chasing their ski dreams.

Alastair Reid, Headmaster of Ballard School, said:

It is extremely important to Ballard School that we support our pupils and help them chase their own dreams, whatever they may be. We look to help them by providing educational material and any other help we can to ensure they are kept up to speed with their studies whilst they are away from school.

We are very proud of Natasha, Anastacia and Sophie and their continued skiing success and would like to say a massive well done!
