Raising Funds and Building New Relationships at Andover Festival of Motoring

Sunday 25th September saw Andover High Street bustling with local traders, classic and rare cars, and motor-enthusiasts of all ages as Andover Festival of Motoring took the town by storm for another successful year.

The chosen charity since the Festival’s inaugural event in 2015, leading disability charity Enham Trust attended with ground-breaking skills development initiative Radio Enham – live broadcasting throughout the day; reporting on the event, and playing popular music for all to hear.

Alongside Radio Enham stood Voice FM – Southampton’s local radio station – with whom Enham Trust is partnered; an ongoing relationship seeing the Trust’s radio station grow both in listenership, and opportunities offered to the Trust’s disabled clients.

The Festival also saw a new relationship formed between the charity and Andover-based Martial Arts school Fighting Falcons as the school worked together to help raise £422.20 on the day for Enham Trust’s vital cause.

We’re really grateful to everyone involved in the Festival of Motoring for supporting our work for another year, comments Enham Trust’s Fundraising Manager Sarah Affleck. It truly is thanks to our supporters, donors, and corporate sponsors that we’re able to continue our work across the country and ensure disabled people can live as independently as possible.

All funds raised during the event will go towards Enham Trust’s cause; supporting over 7,500 disabled people in the cornerstone areas of their lives – providing housing, care, and employment & skills to ensure their clients gain independence, choice, and control.
