Play tunnel inspires even more pre-school learning

Youngsters at Longparish Little School are now having even more fun while learning thanks to a donation from everyday health company Simplyhealth.

Simplyhealth, which has offices in Andover and Winchester, donated £1,100 to the pre-school to buy a new outdoor play tunnel.

Colin Perry, Chair of Simplyhealth’s Andover Community Fund, said:

We’re the title partner of the Great Run series because we want to get more people moving to better their everyday health by running, jogging or simply moving together, which is why it’s fantastic to see the children playing in their new tunnel. We hope they enjoy many more hours of fun!

Claire Nash, Longparish Little School Manager, commented:

Our new tunnel is a great way to get the children moving and using their large muscles to crawl and climb. It’s also a fantastic resource to develop imagination, social skills and communication. So far it’s been a horse, a train and a space rocket!

Longparish Little School would like to thank Simplyhealth for the donation which has contributed to our excellent learning environment. The children say it’s ‘great and we love moving about in it.

The tunnel was installed on Tuesday 31st October 2017.
