The 69-year-old community member scored 4-under to secure the trophy, beating five other members who returned scores below par.
Richard said:
I only joined the group a few months ago. I had a brilliant round today and am delighted to have won my first trophy.
The trophy is played for each April and marks the anniversary of the formation of the club.
Robert Smith, the founder of the community club, said:
I am delighted that a relatively new member has tasted success.
