Lloyds Gives Their Days To Support Enham Trust!

A group of nine dedicated supporters from Lloyds Banking Group in Andover recently took a day away from the office to volunteer for leading disability charity Enham Trust. Using the company’s own scheme “Day to Make a Difference”, where Lloyds’ employees are encouraged to give something back by volunteering within their community for at least one day a year, the team have been supporting the charity in this way since 2013.

Over the years, the Workflow Team from Group Operations have supported the charity in a number of ways, including; completing a skydiving challenge which raised over £2,500, repainting a disabled client’s accessible home, submitting and winning an internal story-writing competition to win £500 for the charity, and supporting the charity’s Garden Services team with gardening and ground maintenance.

On this occasion, the team redecorated the dining room of one of the charity’s three on-site 24 hour care homes, ensuring that the clients are able to socialise and relax during meal times in a smart and clean environment.

Ryan Pooles, Enham Trust’s Volunteer Team Leader is delighted with the efforts of the team, stating;

The Lloyds team had amazing amounts of energy on the day, and worked really hard to paint a very large room. They did an amazing job and had some laughs along the way. We are always so grateful when big companies like Lloyds choose Enham Trust for their volunteering days, especially when they continue to support us each year. It helps the Charity immensely and also opens up opportunities for ourselves and corporates.” Richard Harris from the Workflow Team, Group Operations, commented : “We all really enjoyed the day painting at Enham and hope to be back again very soon!
