Wessex Cancer Trust is launching its first Cakes4Cancer fundraising campaign this summer.
From June 27th – July 3rd individuals, companies and community groups will be holding bake sales across Hampshire, raising money to help the Trust to provide practical and emotional support for people living with and affected by cancer in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.
Free fundraising packs are available online or in the post to get you started, so why not get baking and selling to help make a real difference.
There are a couple of recipes in the pack to help get you started if you decide to go for the home-made touch, as well as lots of exciting bits and pieces to help you plan your event. If you don’t fancy baking yourself, you can get cakes donated or go for shop-bought goodies for your sale, so everyone can get involved!
There will be a competition running throughout the week, with the most ‘Creative Bake’ winning a fantastic Soap Cake. You can also show off your amazing creations on social media at www.facebook.com/WessexCancer or just by using the tag #Cakes4Cancer on Twitter.

This is a fun event that everyone can take part in to help towards improving the lives of people living with and affected by cancer and the best part of all is we are encouraging everyone to make and eat cake to raise vital funds.
