Today in the Chantry Centre, children were amazed to see everyone’s Big Friendly Giant for which most of us remember as our imaginary childhood friend. Children also enjoyed Roald Dahl stories and crafts as parents took a break from shopping.
This year marks the centenary of Roald Dahl’s Birth, so this year you’ll see events all around remembering his most loved children’s books and especially on the 13th September 2016 that will see the biggest ever global celebration of Roald Dahl’s birthday!
If you are a group or a school and would like to take part in the celebration for Roald Dahl’s Birthday in September, then you can register to receive a pack here
