CPRE Hampshire
is delighted to announce two new sponsors for its long-running and successful Countryside Awards scheme – Hildon Ltd and the Hastoe Group

Hildon, who source and bottle natural mineral water from the Hildon estate in Broughton in the Test Valley, will sponsor the Rural Enterprise award. The Sustainable Buildings award will be sponsored by the Hastoe Group which specialises in providing sustainable and affordable rural housing.

Now in their 11th year, the awards run by the Hampshire branch of national charity CPRE, the Campaign to Protect Rural England, celebrate a beautiful, diverse and living countryside that everyone can value and enjoy.

CPRE Hampshire’s Director, Michael Rescorle said:

The Countryside Awards is CPRE Hampshire’s premier project so I am delighted that Hildon and Hastoe have agreed to sponsor it for at least the next two years. It is exciting to have new faces on board and I look forward to working with the sponsors on the organisation, publicising and judging of the awards.

Debbie Jones, Executive Director for Hildon Ltd said:

As a rural company for over 26 years Hildon are fully aware of the challenges this type of environment can present to a business. In addition, having a strong Corporate Social Responsibility commitment to the local area made supporting CPRE Hampshire’s Countryside Awards a perfect fit for us and one with which we are very proud to be associated.

Sue Chalkley, Chief Executive of the Hastoe Group said:

Hastoe is delighted to be able to support these awards which show that it is possible to build beautiful, energy efficient affordable homes that add value to and support the sustainability of our rural communities

The Southern Co-operative continues both its lead sponsorship of the awards and sponsors the Community and Voluntary award. Steve’s Leaves enters its seventh year as sponsor of the Young People category.

CPRE Hampshire launches the Countryside Awards 2017 on 22nd March at Braishfield Village Pantry, a finalist in 2016.
