On Tuesday 13th February 2018, Abbotswood Court in Romsey is hosting a free Eye Surgery Information evening with expert Consultant Eye Surgeon, Andrew Luff.
As we get older, we are at a higher risk of developing age-related eye conditions. It is estimated that in England alone 30% of people aged 65 years or older, have a visually impairing cataract in one or both eyes. Giving older people an insight into the various surgical treatments available, Abbotswood Court a luxury care home and retirement development in Romsey is hosting a dedicated Eye Surgery Information Evening.
The Eye Surgery Information Evening takes place from 6 pm on Tuesday 13th February 2018. It will include guest speaker, Andrew Luff, a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon from the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital in Hampshire. Andrew specialises in vitreoretinal and cataract surgery and will discuss common age-related eye conditions such as cataracts. He will also speak about eye health and the different types of surgical treatments available. This will be followed by a question and answer session with refreshments served to attendees.
