Come and ‘talk to the animals’ at The Lights during May half term!

A brand new family friendly musical show rolls into The Lights on 29 May when Doctor Doolittle comes to town, and he has a message for you all…

Hello to one and all. I am Doctor John Doolittle a very famous Doctor. I’m a bit wacky actually but you will get used to that.  Some of you may have heard of me (good for you) and some may have not – but you will now.

I am not a normal run of the mill Doctor. I was once but I really did not like my patients.  They could be quite difficult.

You see I discovered something amazing, fantastic and down-right wonderful about myself.  Please don’t think I am blowing my own trumpet here but I found out that I had the ability to talk to and understand animals.

So come and see me light up the stage in this magical musical adventure.

This is a brand new show with original music, lots of audience participation and amazing puppets!

I look forward to seeing you all soon.
Toodle pip for now.

Join in the mayhem this summer with Doctor Dolittle and his animal friends.  This family musical will take you on a journey from Puddleby on the Marsh to the high seas of the Caribbean. Dolittle and his animal gang have to find Long Arrow, the great explorer, fend off Mr Slymrott who wants to seize their home and defend themselves against cut throat pirates. Will they succeed? Come along and take part in this epic journey.

The show is suitable for age 6 and upwards on Tuesday, 29 May at 2pm.  Just right for the school holidays!
