Anton Rotary Club presents A Variety Show

Anton Rotary Club presents “A Variety Show” in support of the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, Andover


Anton Rotary Club is providing an evening of exciting, enlightening music and song to entertain the Andover community of ALL ages who the club hopes will attend and support the event to raise much needed funds for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, Andover.

The show is taking place in St Mary’s Church on Saturday, 6th October, 2018 commencing at 7.00pm. Tickets will be going on sale from 1st September at £10 each (£5 for children 16 and under – children under 5 will have free entry) with free complimentary refreshments at the interval.

The show is already shaping up to provide a wonderful evening of music and song featuring the highly successful Andover Ladies choir led by the talented Clare Minting, our soprano soloist, a music teacher at Farleigh Schoo; the Vigo Junior School choir; the soloist Laura Shears singing great musical theatre hits; a talented classical violinist, Catherine McCardel, 14 years of age, attending the Royal School of Music, who is already making her name by playing to audiences of a 1000 strong as a member of the National Children’s Orchestra and the talented Rock choir that will be singing some great popular hits. We are also very lucky to have Rachel Hockley who will have just launched her solo show ‘Songbird’ at the Turner Sims Theatre, Southampton University Campus, which has been two years in development.

Tickets will be available from The Lights Theatre box office (cash or credit card), Ben’s Dry Cleaners, Crisp and Clean in the Weyhill Road, the New Street Family Dentist, La Bella Donna (Stockbridge), Belvoir Estate Agents in Bridge Street and on the door (if any tickets are still to be sold) from the 1st September and other outlets which will be notified in due course.
