Do you love your vinyl, covet compact discs or relish records? Then the ever popular Record and CD Fair being held at The Lights on Saturday, 26 September is an event not to be missed.
The Arena will be packed with 30 tables stocked with records, DVD’s, CD’s, posters, accessories, books and even vintage record players. Visitors will be able to browse an enormous range of musical genre from rock, metal, pop and punk, through to jazz, psych, indie and drum & base and everything in between.
Specialist sellers from all over the south of England will be on hand to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with customers. One such trader is Clive from Clive Records. He has been a regular seller at the Andover Record Fair since its launch, attending almost every event. Clive covers all major artists from the 1960’s to the 1980’s, including the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Queen, David Bowie, The Smiths, Kate Bush, The Sex Pistols to name but a few. And if you are looking for rare and collectable records it is always worth checking his stall as he has a good supply of some of the more rare rock LP’s and 1960’s singles.
All the dealers at the fair buy records too, so if you have some records you would like to sell, bring them along. You might be pleasantly surprised.
The fair will run from 10am until 4pm and entry is free.
More fairs are planned for Saturday 5 December 2015, Saturday, 9 January 2016 and Saturday, 12 March 2016.
